Depression can be a dangerous acquaintance to have when one is lonely or is grieving over one's losses, like the loss of a loved one. Just like every burglar, it always strives to avoid attracting the attention of those close to us, and to achieve this, it often eats deep into our minds where it then lodges in a way that we never even know what terror we have right in our backyard!
.
Due to the overwhelming demands of life, we often are so oblivious of our surroundings that we fail to notice the very people around us. Life doesn't give more than we can handle, and so, worrying about a problem will never attract the matching solution, not will bottling up that problem. Rather, I'll feast on the little sense of optimism you have; then, it'll continue gradually on the outside before progressing deep into your mind where it's accomplice now resides. Sometimes, it helps to talk to someone. Open up! Speak out! Maybe even cry and let all your emotions flow. That way, you realize your true strength as well as your weakness. Break out of your shell, even if it's just for a second, and you'll surely find someone with a greater problem or maybe lesser, but with little advantage compared to yours.
.
Instead of focusing on the problems you have now, be thankful for the ones you don't have, committing to your mind that it's only for a while. No problem is unique and yet you are! And so, get out to meet others who have once experienced your problem or something similar, and let them lit as little as a spark of motivation in you.... Even depression can't stand that much!
